Camtasia not working12/2/2023 ![]() The program becomes very choppy, but still usable IMHO. I believe it works because by restricting the process to a single core, then there is no way that more than one thread can be active at the same time (they run pausing and resuming in a round-robin fashion, sharing the same core) and - probably - that reduces the chance of hitting the condition producing the lock-up. This needs to be done every time Camtasia is opened. If you do change this, youll need to restart Camtasia for the change to take effect. Any setting besides Software-only mode should work with corner rounding. If you're looking for technical support, please click Support in the bottom right hand corner. You can find your HW Acceleration setting by opening up a new project, then go to Edit>Preferences then going to the Advanced tab. I read in an earlier post that Camtasia is compatible with TalentLMS (had been tested by Techsmith.) With the new player and features, the video upon completion shows the message to close and complete later instead of allowing the user to complete. ![]() Due to backend maintenance on the TechSmith user community, the ability to create new posts or comment on posts has been temporarily disabled. SCORM file is not working in LMS and I have no idea how else to trouble shoot this. I get best results (less lockup frequency) by only allowing execution on my last core: Noise Removal is not working in Camtasia 20.0.3 TechSmith Support. Then I right-click and select "Set Affinity" - this allows you to restrict the CPU cores that can actually run the multiple threads used by Camtasia. What I tried is this: I opening Camtasia, and with the Task Manager, I locate the process under the "Details" Tab: Working on Multiple Project Files: (IF NOT MANUALLY HANDLING FILE STRUCTURES) If you know you are going to try to record and edit multiple videos in one editing. So it seems to be some sort of multi-threading issue. The hang type "Cross-thread" is usually generated when a secondary thread (think of a thread like a sub-process running inside a process, that can use a different core to run tasks in parallel) tries to manipulate the User Interface - something that must only be done only in the main thread. The interesting bit is the log entry generated: ![]() Windows 10 reports the application is unresponsive, and force-closes it. Camtasia 2021 will change the cursor to a cross-arrow and hangs indefinitely. camtasia is not opening by double click and also not opening any saved project this will solve all that working and 100 tested method my video is for educ. I can trigger the hang usually by going to the "media bin" appartment and hovering the mouse over any of the recordings. Hi everyone, I'm experiencing the same sort of problems, and found a workaround (not definitive), but at least I can significantly reduce the frequency of the crashes I'm experiencing).
